Instructions for Application or Nomination to the
ABGD Board of Directors


The following documents are required to be considered by the ABGD Nominating Committee for possible nomination to the ABGD Board of Directors:

1.      Completed “Application for Nomination to the ABGD Board of Directors”
2.      Letter of Intent, expressing why you are interested in serving on the ABGD Board of Directors
3.      Curriculum Vitae
4.      Three letters of recommendation

The ABGD Nominating Committee will make recommendations to the ABGD Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will follow the guidelines set forth in the ABGD Constitution and Bylaws for each pending vacancy on the ABGD Board of Directors. Nominations are presented at the American Board of General Dentistry Fall Business Meeting. Elections are held the following May. New Board Directors are placed into office September 1st each year.
